Maria, often known as Maz is a natural, engaging presenter, who possesses an abundance of enthusiasm, energy and that personable approach on screen. Still possessing that professional quality and technique.  

 

She is comfortable with auto cue, talkback, memorised text and script but also has the unique quality to be able to improve and work off the cuff. She is able to adapt herself swiftly to any scenario or mood and she does not shy away from those uncomfortable silences. Always capable of finding something to talk about she is a person who will always get an answer or response from even the hardest of interviewees.

 

Maria has built her portfolio and experiences over many years. Starting off as a host in Camp America, to touring in TIE shows, entertaining holiday guests in Europe and Now Presenting & Hosting on Marella Cruises. From Gameshow hosting to being a contestant herself, Maria has always found herself having to engage with people and win them over both live and on screen.

 

Recently she found her love for Standup comedy, managing to find herself as a semi-finalist in the well-known comedy competition ‘So you think your Funny’, at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

 

Having a passion for story telling and often finding herself at the butt of her stories, she really isn’t afraid to be on the receiving end of a joke. In her words ‘I just love to make people laugh’.
