Noel Thompson is a Jamaican born Journalist who presently resides between Jamaica and the U.S.A. He undertook a Post Graduate Diploma (Distinction) studies in General Journalism at the London School of Journalism in London, England in 2001, after working for a number of years in print and broadcast journalism across media houses in Jamaica and the UK.

In addition to continuing his journalistic ambitions, Noel also carries out photographic and public relations work on a freelance basis for a number of companies, primarily based in Jamaica. These include The Jamaica Tourist Board; the GraceKennedy owned First Global Bank and First Global Financial Services; telecommunications giant - Digicel; The Roman Catholic Diocese of Montego Bay and The Good Shepherd Foundation, among others.

Noel has also undergone intensive approved training in 'Surviving Hostile Regions', conducted by Ex-SAS personnel (an elite arm of the British army), as well as short intensive military training !
by the British Army in a programme called 'Executive Stretch. To date, he is the only Jamaican journalist who has had the opportunity to be exposed to this type of high level training, which is primarily geared towards journalists working in the war zones.
