After doing an A level in Drama I was keen to really follow the dream of getting into television, being up on a stage and making the most of the entertainment industry. I have good presenting skills and am confident in front of a camera or large crowd. Currently working as the Co-host to The Heart 96.9 Breakfast Show I present fresh, light hearted content to over 100, 000 listeners everyday!
With the aim of making people feel good whilst delivering a variety of music. Confidence, variety and good improvisation skills I love every part of acting. I finished college and worked as a Redcoat at Butlins. So I have done lots of Character work, presenting and shows for large audiences. I am used to working closely with children. Dressing up and getting a crowd going to create a really good atmosphere. In 2008 I was asked to present Meet your Navy TV - an internal TV channel at the Meet Your navy 2008 held in Portsmouth. This included doing various live interviews with crew me!mbers, the public and some of the Captains. I was also involved in studio based work presenting from auto cue. I have hosted many local events inc Race for life 2008/2009. I have been the compere to many charity events inc The Princes Trust Christmas Cracker Ball in Bedford and The keech Hospice care's annual Santa run. I thrive on being on the stage and engaging with all sorts of people on a day to day basis.I have also done some extra work for Ch4 with small speaking parts.
I featured in The City of Vice 2007, aired in Jan 2008.I played the princess in Aladdin in the local Panto, Christmas 2008 at the Bedford Corn Exchange and then Alice the lead female in Dick Whittingdon 2009. I am also a member of a local amateur dramatic group, The Marianettes, and will be performing as a principal dancer and chorus member in the next show Disco Inferno. I have also been the manager as a Christmas elf in a grotto two years running entertaining the cues with pantomime style s!hows, singing, dancing and creating the magical Christmas atmo!sphere. I would like to be able to prove I can portray lots of emotion and really be a character rather than just read a script. I'm motivated, determined and reliable.
